Session Scheduling/Attendance

You have to confirm your willingness to attend DMIN'08 via the conference management/paper submission system by marking the respective ‘track’ (PARTicipation or NO PArticipation). This facilitates a session schedule without gap.

  • Log into the system
  • Click on the submenu <View own papers> (last command on the left)
  • To confirm Click on the magnifier symbol on the right (view details).
  • Click on the <Edit data> button in the Paper details window.
  • The second option shows ‘Track: <select track>’
  • Choose either
    • Part (We will present the paper.)
    • Nopa (We will not present the paper.)
Do not choose ‘MT Main Track’.

Only those papers with the explicitly chosen option ‘Part’ will be scheduled for formal presentation in a 20 minutes slot within a session. ‘Nopa’ or even ‘Main Track’ are declarations for non-attendance. Those papers will not be scheduled.

In case of withdrawing your paper without registration we would appreciate an additional brief email notification and relevant feedback why you have chosen not to attend. This is essential for us to further enhance our services to you.

Should you not be able to attend the conference although you have registered we would appreciate a brief notification via email to programme-chair@dmin-2008.com. This helps to avoid undesirable gaps between paper presentations. We will register and pursue all conference no shows without pre-information.

Hotel Reservation

To make hotel reservations for DMIN'08 please visit the registration website of the WORLDCOMP Multiconference, of which DMIN'08 is a part of. You find it at http://www.world-academy-of-science.org/worldcomp08/ws/location.

From personal experience, these special rates are amongst the lowest in Las Vegas. Room in Las Vegas never decrease but increase with time - so make your reservations as early as possible. Also consider, that we are planning a variety of events to/from the conference venue, which may justify staying at the Monte Carlo Resort. Cheaper off-strip accommodation may be a substantial distance away, with very limited public transport and serious taxi fares!

We are not able to support room sharing centrally this year.
